European project empowering youth
for environmental action
The Eco-patrols – Boost its Green Goals project is aimed at improving non-formal environmental education through the expansion of eco-patrol methods and the integration of modern ecological concepts with innovative digital tools.
The goal is to empower young people, people working with young people and organizations across Europe for a sustainable and green future. The project encourages the development of digital competences, ensuring the innovative communication tools and digital learning opportunities are an integral part of all activities and outcomes.
Through piloting methods in additional communities, upgrading mobile educational games, mentoring real environmental actions and expanding the Eco-patrol network, the project aims to increase the impact of non-formal education on the environment, share good practice and enable long-term application and replication of methods at the national and European level.
Special emphasis is placed on communication that enables inclusion, learning and community building, thus ensuring wider visibility and engagement of young people in environmental initiatives.

Project goals
Clear goals for greater impact
Expand the Eco-patrol method of non-formal environmental education by developing additional materials (Handbook, Eco-patrol platform), upgrading existing materials (mobile educational environmental games) and including additional target groups (youth organizations, people working with youth and youth in 2 original, 3 additional countries and the EU through the network and platform).
Integrate modern ecological concepts into the Eco-patrol method, ensuring its relevance and alignment with the needs of partners and current EU priorities in the field of environment.
Deepen the influence of digitization in the informal education of young people about the environment by upgrading the content of the mobile ecological game and developing new digital educational applications of the existing game.
Pilot the Eco-patrol method in additional communities, integrating innovative aspects and themes based on partner needs and experiences from previous project implementations.
To increase the impact of the project by strengthening the capacity of youth workers, educators and trainers at the national level, enabling them to effectively implement the Eco-patrol method.
Mentor real environmental actions during the pilot phase, providing youth workers, educators, trainers and young people with practical experience in leading civic initiatives and achieving visible impact in communities.
Transfer good practices and strengthen capacities among youth organizations and environmental organizations through the improvement of cooperation with existing partners and the inclusion of future strategic partners in the Eco-patrol network.
Widely disseminate the Eco-patrol method by forming the Eco-patrol network, expanding the project website into an international platform and adding modern ecological concepts, innovative educational tools and dissemination channels.
Increase the visibility and reach of the Eco-patrol method across the EU by using social media campaigns to engage a wider young audience and promote the project results to different stakeholders from different sectors.
Facilitate knowledge transfer and replication of the Eco-patrol method, ensuring long-term impact through joint planning for the sustainability of project results.
