National seminar in Serbia

A three-day seminar was held with great success from December 8 to 10, 2023, at the NORCEV Hotel on Fruška Gora. This educational initiative attracted considerable attention, considering that as many as 79 applications for participation were received. After careful selection, 25 participants had the opportunity to learn about the activities of Environmental Protection Engineers and the “Eco patrols 4 environmental goals” project.

The interest of educators in the seminar indicates the growing importance of environmental protection topics in the educational process, both in primary and secondary schools. During the seminar, the participants had the opportunity to learn more about the project and contribute to the development of the manual for extracurricular activities with high school students.

The main goal of the seminar was to collect feedback on the prepared manual, which is one of the key products of the “Eco patrols 4 environmental goals” project. The information received from the participants will enable improvement of the content of the manual and adaptation to the needs of high school students in Serbia. It is important to point out that the manual is the result of cooperation between organizations and youth workers from Croatia, Macedonia, Italy, Hungary and Serbia.

After collecting suggestions during the seminar, as well as similar events in the partner countries, the manual will become publicly available and free to use.

After the publication of the manual, environmental protection engineers will provide support for its implementation, which will contribute to the education of young people about the importance of environmental protection.
